Hi, I'm Petros Pieskä.

I am an Information Technology student at Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OUAS), graduating between late 2025 and early 2026. My studies focus on full-stack development, modern web technologies, databases, and cloud deployment. Alongside my formal education, I actively build and deploy real-world projects to deepen my technical expertise. I work with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, JWT authentication, and modern deployment platforms like Vercel, Render, and Neon.

Through personal projects, I have implemented authentication systems, REST APIs, database integrations, and multi-service cloud deployments. I enjoy understanding how systems work end-to-end — from frontend user experience to backend logic and production infrastructure. I continuously expand my knowledge by exploring new tools, improving code quality, and refining architecture decisions. Outside of development, I maintain discipline and long-term focus through my life long hobby track and field.
